INTRODUCTION


Our pre-season & college ID camp is the perfect way to start the 2019 winter season.

With a special 2 day guest appearance by Ramy Ashour who is widely regarded as the greatest squash player in history. He is the youngest player to reach world no.1 since 1980 and the first ever two time world junior champion. Having recently announced his retirement this will truly be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Directing the camp will and former world number nine, world team champion and commonwealth games gold medalist Adrian Grant. Spend a fun six days of developing your game in Tuckahoe NY, to experience our specially designed pre-season training program this includes either day or overnight option with our staff and sign-ups

The camp includes an onsite College Recruitment Seminar for parents and student-athletes. These valuable sessions get to the heart of what recruiting is, how it works, how families can best navigate the process. Gain first-hand knowledge of developing an individual college roadmap focusing on the four recruitment pillars, Academics, Athletics, Finances and Social environment.

Showcase yourself and be evaluated by some of America’s most successful college squash program coaches including Franklin & Marshall (Gavin Jones) and Bates College (Patrick Cosquer) will be part of the coaching team and bridging an opportunity to meet new aspiring players. Ramy Ashour is Egypt’s greatest squash player. With his infectious personality and global following, Ramy truly changed the way how squash is played and revolutionized the game. The former world no.1, you name has done it all as a junior and on the pro tour. Nicknamed “The Artist” due to his sublime racquet skills and creating shots of his own that only few can replicate.

Adrian Grant reached his highest ranking of number nine in the world in 2009. Adrian has won multiple World Team and European Team Championships, one gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and 16 PSA tournaments. Adrian loves music, learning about architecture and modern art and playing sports with his three-year-old daughter. He is originally from London, England and currently resides in New York City.

PAT COSQUER  - Is entering his 12th season as Head Men's and Women's Squash Coach at his alma mater, Bates College. Bates is a combined 309-200 since Coach Pat Cosquer took over the program in 2008 and in 11 seasons with the Bobcats, Cosquer has coached 3 All-Americans, 5 NESCAC Rookies of the Year, 4 NESCAC Players of the Year, several 1st and 2nd Team All-NESCAC performers and 1 (two-time) National Individual Champion. In 2010, Cosquer was named both the NESCAC Men's and Women's Coach of the Year and in 2016 he was named NESCAC Men's Co-Coach of the Year.
